Windows xp professional system builders

Only issue I have is after downloading 89 updates I am now getting an isass. I am pretty sure I just need to run a repair on it but it was to late last night to even think about it.

Pros: Installed very quickly. I put it in my pc, went to sports practice, and when I came back it was done. Overall Review: Much better than vista.

No more nvlddmkm. Pros: Installed on new gig sata drive without any problems with product code or registration in about 25 minutes.

Completed 89 updates without any problems. Overall Review: Shipping was fast as usual. I've used earlier editions of XP Pro on other systems that were built and had very few problems with the operating system. Sold by: Newegg Shipped by Newegg. Learn More. Integrated and current Integrate with Windows Servers and management solutions and keep your system current with automatic Windows Update. Verified Owner. Did you? Yes No. Jason F. Mike H. Pros: This is, currently, the best operating system Microsoft makes. Cons: None. THey did not offer xp x64 so I had to order it. I had no issues with the install. Overall Review: I had to make sure i had drivers for my various components that support x64 - this is not something a newbie should mess with.

Some things just do not work with x But now my adobe photoshop and lightroom run much faster than before on standard xp and it recognizes 8gig of memory. Cons: Most games aren't "supported," though they usually will still work i.

However, iTunes does not support xp64, only Vista64 though there's an available hack to make it work. Zune's not supported either, and I'm not sure about any available hacks, as I don't own one so I don't care to try. Shouldn't be a problem though, as Winamp supports Zune, iPod, and most other generic mp3 players, and is bit compatible.

Basically, it's just really annoying to try and get programs to run correctly. Overall Review: I suppose the biggest plus from buying this system is that I've learned a lot about my computer through trying to make everything work! I'm glad I bought bit, though I may break down and buy a bit version to dual boot for those difficult programs. Pros: Windows XP is rock solid, unlike their latest product. XP 64 bit is faster and takes great advantage of up to date equipment.

Installed quickly and easily. Recognized MB and 8 Gig of ram immediately. Works great for video editing. Overall Review: Hardware and software industry is beginning to catch up with the 64 bit technology.

Drivers can be tricky but no big problem. I use DriveDetective to help in the installation. I plan on getting a few more licenses before they take this off the market and we're left with nothing but 64 bit Vista. Pros: I downgraded from Vista Ultimate 64 and the results are very noticeable!

Not a problem for me since I have 4GB, but it made my system feel slow. Q 3. BIG improvement on system resources! DX10 is not a big concern to me right now, and I didn't want to jump on the Win7 boat just yet as it's still a very new OS.

Cons: no dx10, and a few minor things here and there, but the benefits to me far outweigh the detractors and definitely not enough to mark it down an Egg. Overall Review: I think it's a good idea to have a legit copy of XP handy, especially for any older systems or ones with limited resources like a netbook. Pros: Excellent OS.

Very fast using photoshop CS especially with more than 4 gb ram. Overall Review: Great with photoshop. I use 8 gb ram with excellent speed on addition of filters.
